Week one of transfer who knows

Well this was the beginning of another great transfer!

So Tuesday was basically the temple and all that great stuff.

Well wednesday was very interesting, because we had some apts with a few less actives and the first one cancelled, and then we went to the second one.  Well that was interesting because we followed up about faith which is what we taught last week and she said that she didn't want to come to church!  What?  So far she has been really thinking and considering what she should be doing and now it is just a no.  And what is really hard is for some reason she thinks that she will be fine if she were to die tomorrow.  We are at a slight loss as to what to do, but we have faith that it will all work out in the end.  After that interesting lesson we went to teach to Marcoux kids.  Well they weren't there.  So that lesson didn't happen.  Which was sad because I had prepared the object lessons to teach about faith, and then it didn't happen.  So we were sad, but set up a firm apt for this week.  We then had dinner with some members and we ended up taking home a whole pan of lasagna!  And not a little pan, like the pan took up half of our fridge!!  and they gave us 2 containers full of meatballs.  So yeah.  Lots of food.

Well thursday since it was district meeting we took the lasagna and gave it to the elders. They were even surprised at how much we were given.  District meeting was really good as we looked back at our journals and spiritual experiences that we have had.  It was interesting to look through my journal.  I think that I have grown a lot since the beginning of my mission.  Thank heavens. After we went and taught Beverly and Mary.  Bev is this really sweet old lady.  She is about 79 and is not sure if she wants to start over learning in a religion, but we know that we will be able to help her.  And Mary is an awesome Italian lady.  Her parents came over here from Italy and she is so funny.  Looking at her you would never guess that she is turning 80 this year!  She is starting to progress.  She also said that she would come to church when I spoke.  I am speaking on the 16 March. We then met with the bishop to talk to him about part member families and how we could help him better.
Friday we did our weekly planning and then we went out and contacted part member families.  It was great!  We were able to confirm some addresses and also find some that moved.  I really liked being able to go out and do that work.  It was very tiring though.
Saturday we went to coordination.  Sister Vanderhoef was sick again so we went home and I did some visuals and things like that.
Sunday was good.  Church was great.  We wish that Chelsea was there because we know that it would have helped her so much, but she didn't come.  So this past week she has been having some doubts and we are really trying to help her, but we think that since her family isn't too supportive that the stress is starting to get to her.  We are going to make it all work though and help her out.
Well other news for this week, I got a haircut.  And it looks very different. Like I have bangs.  Unfortunately I can't send a picture from this computer right now so I will send one to yall later. let's just say, I'm a new person, and I now need to do my hair differently and it is really odd.   So yeah.  That's all for this week. :)
Love always and Forever,
Sister Lundahl
